Scope
1.1
This Standard applies to electric heat-tracing (EHT) cable systems for
installation and use in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian
Electrical Code, Part I, on supply systems having nominal voltage of 600
V and less.
1.2
This Standard applies to EHT for use on metal or nonmetal pipes, tanks,
vessels, and related equipment, in nonhazardous industrial locations.
