Scope

1.1 This practice covers a procedure for sampling airborne particulate matter larger than 5 Āµm in size. The method is designed to be used in specific areas, commonly called “clean rooms” in the aerospace industry where aerospace fluids are handled.

Note–Practice F50 is an alternative procedure.

1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
