This Standard specifies requirements for steel sheets and strips coated by a hot-dip aluminium coating process (hereafter referred to as sheets and coils, respectively).

NOTE The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 5000:2011 Continuous hot-dip aluminium-silicon-coated cold-reduced carbon steel sheet of commercial and drawing qualities (MOD)

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21-1.
