This chain shall never be used for overhead lifting applications.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00003\">1.2 There are two classes each of machine and coil chain:<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00004\">1.2.1 <span class=\"italic\"><span class=\"italic\">Class MS<\/span><\/span> Machine, straight-link steel chain,<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00005\">1.2.2 <span class=\"italic\"><span class=\"italic\">Class MT<\/span><\/span> Machine, twist-link steel chain,<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00006\">1.2.3 <span class=\"italic\"><span class=\"italic\">Class CS<\/span><\/span> Coil, straight-link chain, and<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00007\">1.2.4 <span class=\"italic\"><span class=\"italic\">Class CT<\/span><\/span> Coil, twist-link steel chain.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00008\">1.3 The values stated in either inch-pound units or SI units shall be regarded separately as standard. Within the text, the SI units are shown in brackets.
