{"id":250207,"date":"2024-10-19T16:30:12","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T16:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-61439-52015\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T11:43:23","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T11:43:23","slug":"bs-en-61439-52015","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-61439-52015\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 61439-5:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This part of <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">IEC&nbsp;61439<\/span> <\/span> defines the specific requirements for public electricity network distribution assemblies (PENDAs).<\/p>\n<p>PENDAs have the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>used for the distribution of electrical energy in three phase systems for which the rated voltage does not exceed 1&nbsp;000&nbsp;V a.c. (see <span class=\"xref\">Figure&nbsp;101<\/span> for a typical distribution network);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>stationary;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>open <span style=\"font-variant:small-caps\">assemblies<\/span> are not covered by this standard;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>suitable for installation in places where only skilled persons have access for their use, however, outdoor types may be installed in situations that are accessible to ordinary persons;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>for indoor or outdoor use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The object of this standard is to state the definitions and to specify the service conditions, construction requirements, technical characteristics and tests for PENDAs.
