{"id":275261,"date":"2024-10-19T18:30:41","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:30:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-iso-6692016\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:55:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:55:20","slug":"bs-en-iso-6692016","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-iso-6692016\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN ISO 669:2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard defines and specifies certain identified electrical and mechanical characteristics of equipment used for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>resistance spot welding,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>projection welding,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>resistance seam welding,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>upset welding <span class=\"xref\"> <sup>1)<\/sup> <\/span>, and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>flash welding <span class=\"xref\"> <sup>2)<\/sup> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This International Standard specifies the information to be given in equipment specifications and the test methods to be used for measuring those characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>Not all requirements apply to all types of equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The following types of power sources are included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>single phase with alternating welding current;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>single phase with rectified welding current by rectification of the output of the welding transformer;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>single phase with inverter welding transformer;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>three phase with rectified welding current by rectification of the output of the welding transformer;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>three phase with a current rectification in the input of the welding transformer (sometimes called frequency convertor);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>three phase with inverter welding transformers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This International Standard does not apply to welding transformers that are separate from the equipment.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE\n <\/div>\n<p>Safety requirements for resistance welding equipment are covered by <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">IEC&nbsp;62135\u20111<\/span> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Resistance welding.
