It is intended to apply to cities, especially those having a shortage or low availability ratio of parking lots. This smart transportation still aims at a solution to the city issue of difficulty for drivers in finding vacant parking lots in a short time, with which other solutions can be expected additionally to traffic accidents and congestion, energy consumption, air pollution as well as noise and vibration in a city.<\/p>\n<p>This document clarifies the concept and goals of smart transportation by referring to the technical aspects suggested by <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ITU-T&nbsp;Y.4456: 2018<\/span><\/span>, Requirements and functional architecture for smart parking lots in smart cities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS ISO 37163.
