Detail specifications<br \/>\nnot complying with these requirements may not be considered as<br \/>\nbeing in accordance with IEC specifications nor shall they be so<br \/>\ndescribed.<\/p>\n<p>In the preparation of detail specifications the content of 1.4<br \/>\nof the sectional specification shall be taken into account.<\/p>\n<p>The numbers between square brackets on the first page of the<br \/>\ndetail specification correspond to the following information which<br \/>\nshall be inserted in the position indicated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identification of the detail specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[1] The &#034;International Electrotechnical Commission&#034; or the<br \/>\nNational Standards Organization under whose authority the detail<br \/>\nspecification is drafted.<\/p>\n<p>[2] The IEC or National Standards number of the detail<br \/>\nspecification, date of issue and any further information required<br \/>\nby the national system.<\/p>\n<p>[3] The number and issue number of the IEC or national generic<br \/>\nspecification.<\/p>\n<p>[4] The IEC number of the blank detail specification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identification of the resistor network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[5] A short description of the type of resistor network.<\/p>\n<p>[6] Information on typical construction (when applicable).<\/p>\n<p>[7] Outline drawing with main dimensions which are of importance<br \/>\nfor interchangeability and\/or reference to the national or<br \/>\ninternational documents for outlines.
