This standard includes pilot operating handbook requirements for powered parachute aircraft that were designed and manufactured per ASTM Standards.<\/p>\n<p>1.1.1 This specification covers the minimum requirements for information that shall be provided by the manufacturer or seller of new light sport aircraft, engines or propellers as a part of the initial sale or transfer to the first end user.<\/p>\n<p>1.1.2 This specification does not apply to the sale or transfer of used light sport aircraft, engines or propellers.<\/p>\n<p>1.2 <i>Applicability<\/i>\u2014This specification applies to powered parachute aircraft seeking civil aviation authority approval, in the form of flight certificates, flight permits, or other like documentation.<\/p>\n<p>1.3 <i>This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
