{"id":596088,"date":"2024-11-05T21:45:51","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T21:45:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/iso-159192001\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T21:45:51","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T21:45:51","slug":"iso-159192001","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/iso\/iso-159192001\/","title":{"rendered":"ISO 15919:2001"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard provides tables which enable the transliteration into Latin characters from text in Indic<\/p>\n<p>scripts which are largely specified in rows 09 to 0D of UCS (ISO\/IEC 10646-1 and Unicode).<\/p>\n<p>The tables provide for the Devanagari, Bengali (including the characters used for writing Assamese), Gujarati,<\/p>\n<p>Gurmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Sinhala, Tamil, and Telugu scripts which are used in India, Nepal,<\/p>\n<p>Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
