{"id":622466,"date":"2024-11-05T23:48:59","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T23:48:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/iso-6888-12021\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T23:48:59","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T23:48:59","slug":"iso-6888-12021","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/iso\/iso-6888-12021\/","title":{"rendered":"ISO 6888-1:2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies a horizontal method for the enumeration of coagulase-positive staphylococci by counting the colonies obtained on a solid medium (Baird-Parker medium)<sup>[10]<\/sup> after aerobic incubation at 34\u00a0\u00b0C to 38\u00a0\u00b0C and coagulase confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>This document is applicable to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 products intended for human consumption;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 products intended for animal feeding;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 environmental samples in the area of food and feed production, handling, and<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 samples from the primary production stage.<\/p>\n<p>This horizontal method was originally developed for the examination of all samples belonging to the food chain.<\/p>\n<p>Because of the large variety of products in the food chain, it is possible that this horizontal method is not appropriate in every detail for all products.
