Das Abrauchen der Zigaretten und das Sammeln des Hauptstromrauches erfolgen in der Regel nach ISO 4387. Das in dieser Norm festgelegte Verfahren ist auch anwendbar f\u00fcr die Bestimmung von Nikotin in Zigaretten-Rauchkondensat, das durch nicht normgerechtes Abrauchen gewonnen wurde.
