Sampling is carried out using an adhesive medium (e.g. tape), which is pressed onto the surface to be examined. The analysis is done using SEM\/EDXA. The method is primarily used for indoor applications, but is also suitable for certain outdoor situations (e.g. window sills). The assessment of the measuring results is based on a semi-quantitative scheme.
