This Published Document gives guidance to committees on the preparation of codes of practice for building covered by the Sector Committee for Building and Civil Engineering, B\/-. It does not cover civil engineering and structural design codes, or fire standards.<\/p>\n
This document builds on the guidance given in previous editions of PD 6501 and makes reference to the most recent edition of BS 0-3 for detailed information on BSI requirements for the drafting and preparation of British Standards.<\/p>\n
