This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from, ISO\/IEC 8881:1989 and Technical Corrigendum 1:1991. <\/p>\n<p><b>Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p> This International Standard deals with the use of the X.25 Packet Level Protocol (PLP) as specified in ISO 8208 operating over ISO 8802 Local Area Networks (LANs). <br \/> Section 2 of this International Standard specifies the operation of the X.25\/PLP using the Logical Link Control (LLC) Type 2 procedures defined in ISO 8802-2.
